Hydro mechanic steering

The transporter is equipped with a hydro mechanic steering system acting by hydraulic motor equally to each axle. Thus, the track rods are only needed for stabilization purposes, not for power transmission. 

Each steering circuit is supported by a track rod between the front and rear and is secured by a pressure control valve. The steering position is indicated in the cabin’s monitor.

The connecting rods between the steering axles are positioned at the end of the left turn and a right turn for easy stabilization.

Hydrostatic drive system

The drive system consists of a diesel engine with relevant hydro pumps for the drive system via the appropriate coupling. Adjustable axial piston pumps acting on adjustable axial piston motors mounted to the driven pendulum axles. Hydrostatic double drive axles connected via high quality maximum pressure hoses and maximum pressure pipes to the hydraulic pumps. The system is secured by two (2) maximum pressure valves for the working circuits and one safety valve for the control circuit. Overspeed valves for anti-sliding function and overspeed of a single drive motor to be installed in front of each drive axle. The pumps receive the oil from a hydraulic oil tank via a filtration system into a closed circuit with the drive motors. The pumps are speed regulated, while the drive motors are power regulated. The speed regulation of the pumps is effected by the drive selector switch and the accelerator pedal valve in the cabin to regulate the engine speed. The drive motors are regulating themselves depending on actual pressure. At high pressure the motor control angle is high, resulting in low speed and high tractive force. At lower pressure the motor control angle decreases, resulting in lower tractive force and higher speed.
